On June 5 and 6, 2017, CAST Alimenti attended the Career Fair at the Culinary Institute of America held at Hyde Park Campus.
The Career Fairs at the Culinary Institute of America are very special events as they attract organizations from all over the world who are eager to connect with the well-prepared CIA students.
CAST Alimenti has linked with many of them willing to join our programs to deepen knowledge about the Italian cuisine and pastry, and set up very specific educational paths customized according to the Institute requirements.
The first CIA students started her course in October last year; here some of her words about the experience:
“CAST Alimenti works with the best, local, organic, sustainable, most flavorful ingredients in the world. All the passion and love for food sits in every student, chef and Italian entrepreneur I met. Learning about ingredients also taught me about the quality of Italian products. Where else in the world do you need a color coded guide to the hundreds of different types of flour?
I was mesmerized by all the activities, the smell, taste and appearance of the local Italian food, the coming and going students and staff members, the end-of-the-week buffets and final presentations, and the adventures to experience the local area. Italy was definitely a wise choice. I am proud to have had the opportunity to become part of the CAST Alimenti family”.
The next edition of the fair will be held at Hyde Park in November 2017, but the CIA Campuses in California and Texas are organizing their own Career Fairs in light of this year’s successes.
