"Curiosity is the driving force"

Former chef and teacher Marco Marinelli develops his experience in various hotels and restaurants.

At the moment, he is teacher at the “Institute A.Mantegna” in Brescia, consultant in different areas of catering and also educator as well as tutor for internship in the course of Advanced Diploma for Chef in CAST Alimenti.

Since 2019 he has also joined the team of teachers of the Advanced Diploma for Pastry Chef and for Restaurant Pastry Chef, to which he dedicates a day dedicated to teaching manual skills related to the main cuts.

After graduation, he developed his experience in many hotels and restaurants.

Decisive for his professional growth is the meeting with chef Vittorio Fusari and the knowledge of his culinary philosophy.

In 2001 he represented the winning Italian Team at the “Biennale of young artis of Europe and Mediterranean” in Sarajevo, then, while continuing his growth as a chef, he dedicates himself to university studies, earning a degree in Education Sciences to develop his professional passion: teaching, so as to develop innovative learning teaching systems that he applies in his cooking lessons.

The curiosity and the constant desire to learn and get involved, brings him closer to the world of ice cream and competitions: in 2013 and 2019 he won the Sigep Gelato d'Oro becoming Italian Champion of gastronomic ice cream.

In January 2020 in Rimini, wins with the Italian Team, the Ice Cream World Cup.
