Diego Crosara is a pastry chef from Vicenza, Italy, strongly familiar with teaching. He served as pastry chef in the National Italian Chefs Team and participated in several competitions. He won the silver medal at the WPTC world patisserie championship in Phoenix, USA in 2010 and, as a coach, the gold medal at the World Gelato Cup in Rimini, Italy in 2012. The same year, he had also been training Sonia Balacchi, who triumphed over the podium on the first edition of the competition Pastry Queen. He has been performing as a judge in some major competitions and he is the author of some monographs such as Creative Pastry and Decorations and Mignon (Reed Business editor), the latter recognized among the "top five" by the review Cook Book Award in Paris, France in 2012.
